Guests are taken off road on a purpose-built 4WD vehicle alongside a knowledgeable driver/guide. Guests are collected from their accommodation and taken along the scenic highways to explore the area.
Walk on the world-famous rainforest beach - Cape Tribulation - and admire the rainforest-fringed coastline and coral reef from the Kulki Lookout. Cape Tribulation was named by Captain Cook "this is where our trials and tribulations began". Guests have special access to a private rainforest property where they can enjoy a short walk along a delightful rainforest creek before a delicious tropical lunch. They will have a choice of quality steak, fish or vegetarian meal with fresh salads and fruit platter, followed by coffee or Daintree Tea.
After winding through the rainforest of the Alexandra Range, visitors enjoy a spectacular lookout over the Daintree River estuary, Snapper Island and beyond to the Coral Sea. Take a one hour cruise to learn about the various habitats and wonderful wildlife found in this amazing environment, see birds, tree snakes, unique plants and of course maybe catch a glimpse of the estuarine crocodile.

This is the most outstanding day tour I could have asked for! From the moment the bus pulled up at the hotel, the driver got out and shakes hands with each person as they board. We get moving right after we were safely seated. From the informative commentary along the way to the jokes that were made the day was brilliant. We had the most bubbly experienced (yet still young) We were made to feel each person was his most important ever. I can also say this is great for overseas travellers and local Aussie travellers alike. They provide GPS activated commentary in a huge number of languages (via earphones) meaning no one misses out! The lunch is good and a huge amount of effort has gone into making this a great experience!
